Glistening Examples is pleased to present this new album from Thomas Tilly.
“Codex Amphibia (an interpretation of the explosive breeding phenomenon)”

This project comes from a 2016 research field session realized with Antoine Fouquet, Research associate at The French National Center for Scientific Research; “Ecology, environment and interactions in Amazonian systems Lab” (LEEISA); and the “Evolution and Biological diversity Lab”.   Thomas then composed these tracks from unprocessed raw field recordings and interspersed sinewave structures in 2017.
It’s a truly mesmerizing handwoven audio tapestry!

When purchasing the tangible Hylidae Edition CD from the Glistening Examples Bandcamp site, you will also receive a download code for a digital copy of the album along with a PDF of the composer’s notes regarding this project (all too elaborate to be included in the jewel case packaging). This was quite an ambitious project!
